Fees apply to all health care organizations including long term care institutions. Fees are subject to change.
Online Application Fee - $2,500 (Includes Membership to the Pathway Learning Community)
Due along with the electronic application. Non-refundable.
Appraisal Process Fee
The invoice will be uploaded to the Online Application Portal 1 month before document submission is due. Invoice payment is due within 30 days of receipt.
For applicants that submit their online application on/or after Jan 1, 2018.
Fees based on the number of licensed beds or visits per year.

Depending on availability, applicants requesting a Pathway Standards Document extension may choose from the next 2 submission cycles. Applicants requesting to extend beyond 2 submission cycles must reapply.
Extension Fee: $1,000.00
Due if/when an organization requests an extension prior to 30 days of the approved document submission date.
Appraisal Preparation Cancellation Fee: $2,000.00
Due if/when an organization requests an extension within 30 days of the approved document submission date.
Additional Information Fee: $1,800.00
Due if/when ANCC requests additional information.
Nurse Survey Translation Fee: $2,500.00
Due if/when an organization requests translation of Pathway Nurse Survey.
Interim Monitoring Reporting (IMR) Fee: $1,200.00
One-Time Fee (4 Year Designation)
Effective February 1, 2019 Pathway to Excellence® organizations will be required to submit an updated Organizational Demographic Form (ODF) and Contact Information form (CIF) electronically during their mid-cycle year to the Pathway Program Office (PPO); and not on an annual basis. Organizations will now submit the initial ODF with their Pathway Standards Document (PSD) and the mid-cycle due date is two years from the PSD submission date. In addition, data will now be submitted at the facility level and not require unit level data. Please keep the ODF in Excel format file and do not convert to a PDF file. A one-time fee is due with an organization's mid-cycle ODF. Please submit the mid-cycle ODF and CIF to firstname.lastname@example.org. Effective March 1, 2019, if for any reason an organization is unable to submit the report within the required time frame, the organization must contact the PPO. If the PPO does not receive the required documents by the last day of the organization's PSD submission month and the organization has failed to notify the PPO regarding its delay, a late fee of $500 will be charged. Failure to submit any required reports or failure to comply with Pathway requirements may be considered voluntary surrender of Pathway designation.
Documents must be submitted in English. Organizations outside of the US needing translation of the nurse survey must contact the Pathway Program Office immediately to discuss additional fees.
All fees must be paid by check or credit card in the Online Application Portal.
